Deacon Masiala and Mrs. Celestine Ngoma
Mr. Masiala Ngoma is the current chairman of the Deaconate Team of the United
African Baptist Church.
He is a charter member of the congregation and has stood strongly with the church
through its good and tough years.
Deacon Ngoma is a teacher by profession. He teaches French at Milbrook High
School in Raleigh. Mr. Ngoma is currently working on his Ph.D degree in Education
Adinistration.
He and his wife, former Ms. Celestine Khonde, are from the Democratic Republic
of Congo. Until the end of 2005, Mr. Masiala Ngoma was the president of the
Congolese Community of the Triangle Area of North Carolina, USA. He is both
a strong leader in the church as well as very respected in the Congolese Community.
Mr. and Mrs. Ngoma are the proud parents of four children—Allen, Nancy,
Jerry and Chris.

Deacon Bwensa dia Malosa & Deaconess Ntombo Mahungu

Deacon Bwensa dia Malosa and Deaconess Ntomo Mahungu are nationals of the Democratic Republic of Congo.
They relocated to Raleigh in August of 2004. In the same month they joined the membership of United African Baptist Church by a letter of transfer from Centenary Protestant Cathedral of Kinshasa, Democratic Republic of Congo where they were deacons.
In addition to his position as a church lay leader, Mr. Bwensa founded and led a National Trade Union organization in Kinshasa for forty years. He also served his country as the Deputy Director of Administration in the Cabinet Office of the Senate President of the Democratic Republic
