TEAM MINISTRY DRIVEN

At Forest Hills we strive to be motivated by Mission & Vision.   Our mission under Christ and our vision for our Christian work drives us. We recognize that all believers are gifted in one way or another and all have an important function in the work of the church. 
 
Mission & Vision are owned by teams.  Collective wisdom and energies are at work. Original ideas are shared with others and before long a team is formed. All ministry ideas are tested against the Mission & Vision of the congregation.
 
A Focused Passion is unique to each team. Instead of a few doing all the work, more people are motivated about one strategy for ministry and focus their energies there. Members and guests are free to live out their giftedness.
 
Trust is treasured. Openness and permission to express ideas and opinions is a plus for our teams. All members of the team may say whatever they want as long as it is for the building up of the congregation and its work.
 
Anticipation is vital. We honor traditions and value the past and at the same time anticipate what God will do through people who are excited about doing things that help others and who desire to grow in their personal faith.
