BECOMING A MEMBER

Membership in a Christian Church is a statement of faith and trust in Jesus Christ as the Son of God.

At Forest Hills we take seriously that we are a community of faith in which we find encouragement from each other in our faith, and we partner with each other to support and perform ministry in the name of Christ.

You may become a member by your confession of your trust in Jesus Christ as your only Savior and that you desire to follow his example of baptism by immersion.

You may become a member by your confession of your trust in Jesus Christ as your only Savior and you are stating that you have been baptized by immersion.

You may become a member by statement of your commitment to Jesus Christ as your only Savior and you have been a member of another congregation.
Contact the Senior Pastor. He will be glad to set up a time to talk with you about your decision. He will also give you information about the direction of the church and hear your hopes and aspirations for a church family. Following your discussion and with agreement with you, the pastor will present you to the congregation at a worship service as a new member of the Forest Hills.
