Music Ministry
The Music Ministry of Forest Hills offers you many opportunities to express your God-given talents, including graded choirs, praise teams for contemporary worship, handbells, and congregational singing.
- Children's Choirs - meet on Wednesday nights at 6:00 PM during the school year, sing periodically for Sunday worship.
• Sonshine Singers - Age 3
• Joyful Noise - Age 4
• Praise Makers - Age 5 and 1st grade
• Music Makers - 2nd and 3rd grades
• Young Musicians - 4th, 5th and 6th grades
- Youth
• Youth Choir - 7th through 12th grades, meets on Sundays at
5:00 PM, sings periodically for Sunday worship services.
• Youth Acoustic Ensemble - a more informal group including
different musical instruments, meets Wednesday nights at
7:00 PM during the school year, sings periodically for
Sunday worship services and special services.
- College Choir - meets on Tuesday nights at 7:30 PM during the school year, prepares music for the annual Spring mission trip, and sings periodically for Sunday worship services.
- Sanctuary Choir - Adults, meets Wednesday nights at 7:00 PM, sings for most Sunday worship services, performs Christmas music with orchestra as well as other special concerts throughout the year.
- Cornerstone Choir - Senior adult choir, meets once a month on Wednesdays at 4:00 PM.
- Chapel Bells - Adult, meets on Sunday nights at 6:00 PM, plays several times throughout the year, participates in an annual Handbell Festival.
