Discipleship & Nurture
Purpose of the Council: The purpose of the Discipleship and Nurture Ministry is to allow Forest Hills believers to use their resources and abilities to enable others to experience the power of God at work in their lives. As the people of God, we must apportion time to nurture our spiritual being. The words of Jesus make it abundantly clear: 'Abide in me as I abide in you. Just as the branch cannot bear fruit by itself unless it abides in the vine, neither can you unless you abide in me.'
Teams within the council seek to maintain a fellowship where people feel welcome and cared for, while offering opportunities for all to discover their talents and gifts and use them to meet the needs of others.
