Adoption Support Team - Tricia Wilson / Mary Weaver

The purpose of this team is to encourage the Christian church to support the adoption of orphans by considering adoption and/or supporting and encouraging others who have been called to adopt.

 

Bereavement Team - Helen Bunton

The team helps meet the immediate needs of families dealing with the death of a loved one by providing supplies, preparing food, etc.

Food Service Team - Diane Kincaid

Team members help serve meals on Wednesday nights and assist with food preparation for other occasions.

Media Library Team - Ron Brown

Team workers help work at the check-out desk, help with organization of materials, and plan special emphases such as the children's summer reading program.

Men's Ministry Team - Stephen Edwards

This team provides opportunities for men to strengthen their relationship with Christ by building relationships with other believers as well as non-believers, and meeting the physical and spiritual needs of others through local, regional, and national levels.

Neighborhood Ministry Team - Eddie Nickens

The purpose of this team is to form vibrant connections to the immediate Forest Hills neighborhood in order to foster church-family/resident relationships that lead to Jesus Christ and church membership.         

Prayer Team - Betty Neal

This team is committed to intentional prayer for God's work at Forest Hills.

Preschool/Children's Ministry Team - Susan Wray

The purpose of this team is to lay foundations for the development of children's personal faith in Christ and to equip parents in their task as the primary spiritual guides.

Scouting Team - Frank Laney

Team members oversee and support scout units sponsored by FHBC to reach children in our neighborhood with the morals, values, skills, and leadership provided through the scout program.

Sunday School Hour Greeting Team - John Frye

Team members help foster a welcoming environment by greeting people at the door as they arrive for Bible study.

Sunday School Team - Charles Stroupe

The purpose of this team is to help all ages grow spiritually by teaching the Bible, laying a foundation for salvation, kindling spiritual enthusiasm, creating a sense of belonging, promoting relationships, supporting one another from within, developing serving Christians, and reaching out to others.

Super Adult Team - Ed and Goldie Coates

Team members help coordinate various activities and ministries of the senior members of Forest Hills, including spiritual growth and informational programs and fellowship opportunities.

Women's Ministry Team - Dru Hale

The purpose of the Women's Ministry is to encourage all generations and nationalities of women at Forest Hills in their Christian walk of faith and to equip them to go out and bring others to Him.

Youth Outreach Team - Allison Coltrane

This team, working with the youth Praise Band, works to reach out to the international youth of our church and youth in our community and schools and to spread the Word and be examples of Jesus Christ.

Youth Inreach Team - Beverly Edwards

Team members seek to foster an environment that is welcoming, loving, and accepting of all youth and to create and nurture youth relationships. The team coordinates a number of activities, including Care Groups, Youth suppers, and Sunday Night Oasis.

Youth Spiritual Growth Team - Susan Woodard

The purpose of this team is to grow and strengthen each youth's personal relationship with Jesus Christ, and help each youth to develop the spiritual disciplines that enable this relationship. Bible study opportunities for youth and seasonal spiritual retreats are important parts of this team's work.
