Offering Count and Management Team - Fred Hockaday

This team works within the Financial Management Committee. Its members count, record, and deposit the week's contributions each Monday. 

Insurance Management Team - TBD

This team works within the Financial Management Committee. Members maintain the insurance coverage for the church buildings, equipment, and liability. They conduct an annual review and evaluation of insurance needs and present a report at the July Church Conference. 

Financial Records Review Team - TBD

This team works within the Financial Management Committee. Members conduct a review of the church's financial records at the close of each financial year and make any recommendations for improvements to the Financial Management Committee.

Financial Practices and Management Team - TBD

This team works within the Financial Management Committee. The members monitor monthly church receipts and expenses, making recommendations to the Leadership Team whenever the annual budget requires modification. The Team also maintains the church's Financial Policies and Procedures manual in conjunction with the Church Financial Secretary.

Investment Management Team - AG Bullard

The purpose of the Investment Management Ministry Team is to develop and implement an "Investment Management Policy/Guideline" for the accountable custody and investment of the financial assets of Forest Hills Baptist Church (FHBC). Upon adoption of such a policy, this team will be charged with the responsibility of monitoring and reporting on the investment performance with respect to the financial assets that have been invested in behalf of the donors and contributors to the support of FHBC ministries. 

Endowment Management Team - Jim Young

This team works within the Financial Management Committee. Members study and recommend alternative means of retiring the church debt, restructuring or refinancing that debt, and financing future capital improvements. They educate the church membership regarding the importance of financial and estate planning, with an emphasis on the stewardship of one's estate and tax effective charitable giving. They also address the issue of the church seeking grants for support of its ministry and work with the staff and other committees in evaluating the viability of seeking specific grants.  

Staff Support and Affirmation Team - Patti Bowers/Jan Spears

Team members provide encouragement, affirmation, and prayer support to our ministers so they know we value them as individuals and as spiritual leaders within the church. They also provide the same encouragement, affirmation and prayer support to our support staff so that they will know their work is appreciated and that their contributions to our diverse ministry areas do have a positive impact on God's work in our church. Team members also plan and implement recognition of staff birthdays, special occasions, and employment anniversaries.

Buildings and Grounds Team - Fred Hockaday

This team works within the Property Management Committee. Team members make sure that the church's building and grounds are in good repair, safe, attractive, and utilized in a manner that brings glory to God.

Facilities Use Team - Thad O'Bryant

This team establishes policies and fees for the use of the church's facilities and equipment (excluding its vehicles, missionary residence, kitchen, and dining halls), reviews these policies and fees annually, and updates them as necessary.

Missionary House Team - Gail Laney

Members make sure that the missionary house is an inviting, safe, and nurturing home to missionary families who are called by God to be part of our church family while they are on furlough. 

Transportation Team - Arthur Parker

Members make certain that the church's vehicles are reliable, in good repair, safe, and utilized in a manner that brings glory to God. They provide training and testing for drivers, approve licensed drivers, and see that a list of at least eight approved drivers is posted in the church office. They also act upon all requests regarding vehicle usage.

Internet Team - Everette Allen

Members help church staff effectively use the Internet to introduce
the lost to Christ, to inform individuals looking for a church home about our
church, and to contact, inform, and equip our church members.

Communications Technology Team - John Poteat

Members evaluate new technologies and how they can be used by the church. The team also advises the church on new technology purchases.
